We at Bergen Hjelper Ukraina are working to make our website bergenhjelperukraina.no accessible to everyone, regardless of functional ability, in line with the Act on Equality and Protection against Discrimination.
What is universal web design?
A universally designed website allows all users, including people with disabilities, to access content and functionality equally. This is achieved by following web accessibility standards and by supporting assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Accessibility adjustments on this page
We have adapted this site according to the guidelines of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, and aim to meet the requirements for level AA. As part of this work, we have, among other things:

Implemented color combinations that meet contrast requirements.

Physical accessibility at the organization
Our primary base for collecting and packaging emergency aid is at Fyllingsdalen Teater, Folke Bernadottes vei 52, 5147 Fyllingsdalen.
The building is accessible to people with disabilities. There is access via a ramp and elevator, as well as adapted toilet facilities. There are disabled parking spaces near the entrance. We want all volunteers to be able to participate, so please contact us if you have any special needs.

Do you find that something on the website is not available, or do you need help accessing information? We would love to hear from you. As a voluntary organization, we do not have a dedicated accessibility manager, but we promise to process your request as quickly as possible.
